Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Pasadena, Texas

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Unit Information:

  • 3 procedure rooms
  • 9 productive staff members (RN, CNC, RT)
  • Day shift staffing: 5-7 staff
  • On-call shifts: 6-10 per month (varies)
  • Equipment: Phillips and GE x-ray machines
  • EMR system: Hemomerge
• Typical Work Hours: 0630-1700 or until cases complete, flexible to meet volume
• Call Requirements: 6-10 on-call shifts per month, varies depending on staff support
• Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Previous experience scrubbing in cath lab procedures and electrophysiology (EP)
• Must be personable, flexible, and confident in skill set

Certifications Required

• Registered Radiology Technician
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Cath Lab Tech Certification

Typical Procedures Performed

• Left heart catheterization with PCI
• Pacemaker and ICD implantation
• Watchman device procedures
• EP ablations

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Floating assignments may be expected within the unit guidelines and policies
