Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to provide cardiopulmonary services in a hospital setting. The therapist will work independently, including with NICU patients, and may also work with pediatric patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT or CRT (highest required)
• Valid Florida RRT or CRT license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Comfortable using Medhost charting system
• Ability to work independently with NICU patients
• Pediatric experience is acceptable

Responsibilities

• Follow approved protocols and department policies
• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to inpatients and outpatients
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators
• Perform arterial line insertions and intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis

Shift Details

• Dayshift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Additional Notes

• AHCA certification required for Florida placements
• Must be prepared to review housing options and costs prior to assignment
