Overview

• Travel assignment in Reno, Nevada
• 13-week contract
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift: 6:30a-5p, 4x10, rotating days of the week
• No call or weekends

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Nevada
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• AART or RCIS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Role Details

• Provides high quality Nuclear Medicine data to the interpreting physician
• Serves Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients
• May need to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• May be called off without penalty for low census, including full or partial shifts, with 48 hours' notice
• Participation in the call schedule may occur during times of short staffing only
• Works with physicians and nursing personnel on scheduling, patient preps, and exam selection
• May contact vendors for radiopharmaceuticals or repairs when the Supervisor is absent
• May perform minor clerical duties and other duties as needed
• Provides patient care
