Overview

  • Travel assignment in Dulles, Virginia
  • 8-week contract
  • 36 hours per week
  • Unit has 2 Operating Rooms
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Documentation system: paper charting
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0645–315, case-volume dependent
  • May float to other centers in the division/area

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • Experience in the general operating room (OR)
  • Orthopedics experience
  • Experience with orthospine surgery
  • Familiarity with total joint surgery procedures
  • Experience with sports surgery procedures
  • Experience with podiatry procedures
  • Experience with hand surgery procedures

Preferred Experience

  • ORTHO Total Joints
  • Sports
  • Podiatry
  • Hands

Clinical Focus

  • ORTHO SPORTS/TOTAL JOINTS/SPINE/PODIATRY/HANDS
  • Procedures include all orthopedic procedures, Total Joints, Sports, Spine, Podiatry, and Hand cases
