Unit: Women Services
Location: Methodist Hospital Westover Hills, 2nd floor, Main Building
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum experience within the last year
2 years of Post Partum experience
Labor and Delivery experience
Able to circulate in OR for cesarean section
NRP
AWHONN FM
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Labor with Postpartum
Triage

Unit Details

10 LDR beds, 2 OR, 2 Triage
Patient ratios follow AWHONN
Equipment includes updated HillRom and GE
EMR/document system: Expanse; monitoring in CPN

Responsibilities

Care of labor and delivery patients
Postpartum couplet care

Schedule

Rotating weekends
Holiday coverage required

Additional Notes

Scrub color/attire provided by the unit for the surgical area
Must be energetic and ready to support a new team
