RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

Travel RN role in Houston, Texas.
Unit has 50 beds on the 1st floor of the Main Campus.
The unit functions as a Trauma II area and is functioning as a Comprehensive Stroke Center (survey pending).
Patient ratio is 4:1.
Scheduled for 36 hours per week.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
NIH Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Trauma experience
Meditech experience

Unit Details

Type of staff includes day and night shift coverage with CNC, RNs, LVN, Paramedic, PCT, and BHT roles.
Typical procedures include trauma and ED procedures.
Every other weekend is required.
