Job Overview
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekly hours: 36
- Weekend schedule: Rotating
- On-call: No
- Float requirement: May work on 4 different units
- Patient population: Adult
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Manager (0 years of experience)
- Manager experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Psychiatric experience
- Handle With Care training, which can be completed on site
- Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and before any patient contact
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility
- Direct experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
- Experience in patient assessments, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
Additional Notes
- May be required to work flexible hours and overtime
- Navy scrubs required
