CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Maysville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

• Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging independently.
• Work in a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited facility serving a diverse patient population.
• No call required, but call availability is optional.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Current Kentucky radiation operator’s license.
• ARRT certification in Radiology required; CT registration recommended.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate GE CT scanner and perform CT scans.
• Perform X-ray imaging as needed (float between CT and X-ray).
• Work independently with all patient populations.

Work Environment

• Radiology department within an acute care hospital.
• Use of Meditech electronic health record system.
• Department scrub color: pewter gray (required).

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are important personality traits for success.
• Must be able to start within 7-10 days of offer.
