Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Perform procedures including TAVR, Mitral/Tri Clips, Carotid stenting, TMVR, PFO closures, and Watchman device placements.
Scrub for cardiac catheterization procedures.
Work in a cardiac cath lab with 5 procedure suites.
Unit uses advanced equipment such as Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator.
EMR systems used: MacLab and Meditech.
Patient ratio approximately 1 patient to 3-4 staff members.
Day shift staffing includes 1 Director, 1 CNC, 4.6 RNs, and 5 techs.
Night shift is on-call for emergent cases.
Typical procedures: Diagnostic and Interventional Cath, Peripheral Vascular, Pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, EP/ABL.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and Cath Lab Tech Certification

Schedule & Work Conditions

Scheduled according to facility policy.
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff.

Additional Information
