Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Draper, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• ICU with 4 beds and 4 core staff members
• Day and night shifts staffed by charge nurses, RNs, and techs depending on census
• Patient ratios typically 2:1 or 1:1
• Equipment includes drips, ventilators, telemetry bands, wound vacs, and other standard ICU equipment
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• Floating area includes PCU level care in the same rooms
• Dress code: Black scrubs
• Rotating weekends required; no on-call duties

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Utah
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Skills and Experience

• ICU experience including ventilator management and medication titration
• Post-ROSC (Return of Spontaneous Circulation) care
• Post-Cathlab recovery training (preferred)
• Experience performing bedside TEE (transesophageal echocardiogram) and EKGs

Personality Fit

• Flexibility is a must to adapt to unit needs and floating assignments

Additional Notes

• Candidates without ICU experience, ventilator skills, and medication titration will not be considered
• Unit policies and guidelines are provided upon assignment
