MRI Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a registered MRI Technologist for a travel assignment. The position involves performing MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast imaging using GE equipment. The work environment uses Cerner EMR and operates with a 36-hour workweek.

Work Schedule

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM
Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Rotating weekends required
No on-call duties mentioned
Special scheduling requests (RTO/Special Scheduling) will not be accommodated

Unit Information

Staff: 9 total (day shift example includes 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
Equipment: GE MRI machines
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Breast MRI procedures

Additional Notes

Candidates without MRI registration will not be considered
Floating assignments may be required within MRI areas
