Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (overnight shifts)
Shift: Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Description
- Work in the Radiology department within a 330-bed hospital.
- Unit staffed with 5 techs during the day, 2 on weekends, with backup on-call techs for weekends and overnights.
- Equipment includes C-arms (Philips, Siemens, GE OECs), portable units (Carestream, Canon, Siemens XR rooms), with two new Canon XR rooms recently added.
- Documentation system: Allscripts.
- Procedures performed include fluoroscopy; OR and fluoroscopy experience required.
- Dress code: Any color scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in New Hampshire prior to submission.
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT (R) Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Additional Information
- Great team environment with a mix of new and experienced technologists.
- Exposure to advanced imaging equipment and technology.
- Overnight schedule with consistent days (Thursday to Saturday).
Note: Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.

Unit was traveler friendly, staff was very nice and welcoming, felt supported, nice area of the country for exploring
Cons
Nurses do all their own vitals (not sure how that’s even possible on dayshift), limited resources, morale was low due to recent buyout by HCA
