Job Opportunity: Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) - Operating Room

Location: Deming, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts)

Job Description

• Prepare the operating room, including setting up the sterile field, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
• Manage surgical equipment and the sterile field simultaneously.
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment.
• Certification from a CAAHEP-accredited or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.

Additional Information

• This is a PWP facility, meaning vendors are paid only after the facility has paid the staffing agency.
