• Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit and Facility Overview

• Labor & Delivery unit with 9 beds
• Level 1 Trauma center and Well Baby Center
• Patient population includes laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and neonates
• Patient ratios vary based on acuity
• Equipment includes IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal doppler, and syringe pumps
• Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems used: Med Host and Centricity

Work Schedule

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Must work every other weekend (days on Saturday/Sunday and nights on Friday/Saturday)
• No call requirements

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience working with neonate patients

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Centricity EHR system
• Familiarity with common diagnoses such as gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes
• Experience working in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings
• Team player with a flexible schedule

• Orientation is weekly
• Dress code: black scrubs; certain attire is unacceptable (not specified)
