Contract Details
- Travel assignment
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No call required
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Unit Overview
- Unit Type: Antepartum/Postpartum
- Number of Beds: 24
- Number of Staff: 26 (including 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 1 clerk during day; no patient care technicians at night)
- Patient Ratios: Typically 3:1 or 4:1; occasionally 2:1 depending on patient acuity
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech and CPN
Typical Procedures on Unit
- Non-stress tests
- Hyperemesis management
- Insulin drips
- Magnesium administration
- Heparin drips
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Maternal-Newborn experience, including Postpartum/Mom Baby experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Labor & Delivery or Antepartum experience

- Scrub color: Navy blue
