Work Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per week: 48
Flexibility for day/evening hours as needed
Call required

Unit Information

Operating Room (OR) with 14 ORs
Staff includes charge nurses, RNs, surgical technologists (ST), patient care technicians (PCTs), anesthesia techs (ATs), and trauma team members
Patient ratio approximately 1:1 (not guaranteed)
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Procedures commonly performed: Neuro, Transplants, Orthopedics/Spine

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
NBSTA and DORA certifications must be obtained prior to submission
Orthopedic/Joint experience required
BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

Level I trauma experience
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
