Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

CEN
Meditech experience
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Unit Experience

Conscious sedation
Intubations
Behavioral health watch
Sepsis care
Stroke care, including tPA administration
Chest pain / heart alerts

Work Environment

Navy scrubs required for RNs
Body art should be covered when possible
Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
Hair must be off the shoulders and natural in color
Nails must be natural, clean, and no longer than 1/4 inch; chipped polish and acrylic nails are not allowed
