Vascular Sonographer

Location: Concord, New Hampshire
Shift: 10-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with Wednesdays off
Schedule: Rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily with adult patients; pediatric cases are very rare.
• Small vascular lab team: 3 full-time sonographers and 2 per diem.
• Mostly outpatient exams with some inpatient; portable exams are rare.
• Generous scan times provided.
• May be asked to float to nearby hospital locations within the region.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care vascular lab experience, with unit-specific experience within the last 6 months.
• Tentative approval possible if unit-specific experience is within the last 9 months and competencies are current.
• Active New Hampshire license required at time of submission (temporary license application allowed simultaneously with permanent).
• BLS certification required.
• Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by CCI or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS certification required.
• Resume must demonstrate 2+ years of dedicated vascular experience.
• Skills checklist matching specialty required.
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation must be included at submission.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred, Cerner experience a plus but not required.

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are welcome if they meet the 2+ years dedicated vascular lab experience requirement.
• Local candidates within 50 miles are considered.
