Certified Surgical Technologist

Role

Operating Room Certified Surgical Tech

Location

Watertown, New York

Schedule

8hr evenings
Shift: 11a-7:30p
Weekend, call, and holidays required
Must arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in

Required Qualifications

CST
Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program
BLS
Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience with orthopedic surgery
Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot

Additional Notes

May be asked to precept new staff
Functions under the direct supervision of an RN
Assists in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient
Performs technical duties relating to scrub personnel
Assists with departmental work as assigned
Helps maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
Assists surgeons during surgical procedures
