Job Opportunity: RN (Registered Nurse) - L&D/OB

Location: Winslow, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), every other week, 3 shifts of 12 hours (36 hours/week)
Start Date: August 11

Job Description

• Seeking a travel L&D RN with nursery experience for a small hospital in Northern Arizona.
• Unit is LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) – care from labor through discharge.
• No high-risk deliveries; all deliveries are 36+ weeks gestation.
• Patient population includes many diabetic and drug/alcohol-affected mothers.
• Special care/high-risk infants are transported out; RN must be able to stabilize infants.
• RN does not need to circulate C-sections but provides infant care during them.
• Must be able to multitask and care for more than one laboring patient simultaneously.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in L&D, postpartum, mother-baby, and nursery care (highest required years of experience).
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
