Required Qualifications

• 2 years of cath lab experience
• Active BLS certification
• ACLS
• RCIS or ARRT
• Must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases
• Must have scrub experience for PCI/STEMI
• No radiology license required

Assignment Details

• Travel contract
• Call is required, averaging about 12 days per month, including at least one weekend
• Response time for call is 30 minutes
• Floor-specific orientation is typically 1 to 2 shifts, depending on skill level
• No floating

Work Environment

• 2-lab unit
• About 8 cases per day on average
• Telemetry not used
• Ventilator support available
• IV team available
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7
• Charge nurse present

• Cardiac invasive procedures excluding structural heart
• Peripheral procedures
• Carotid
• A/V grafts
• EVAR
• Peripheral diagnostic and intervention
• IR peripheral procedures, including carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diagnostic and intervention

Additional Notes

• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by certain affiliated facilities within the past year
• Two supervisor references are required at submittal
• Copy of driver’s license required at submittal to validate legal name
• Profiles are sent directly to the unit
