Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Greenville, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (3 shifts per week)
Schedule: Every third weekend

Job Description

• Work in a rural community hospital’s Labor & Delivery unit.
• Comfortable managing all areas of the birthing center, including labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care.
• Level 1 maternity unit with approximately 30 deliveries per month.
• Unit includes 4 labor and delivery rooms and 6 postpartum rooms.
• Staff are cross-trained across all L&D areas.
• 24 hours of orientation provided.
• Charting systems used: Centricity and CPSI.
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Obstetrics (OB).
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Additional Information

• Work schedule includes every third weekend.
• 12-hour night shifts.
