Schedule
- Days
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Shift time: 0700-1930
- Every other weekend
- Standby required
Required Qualifications
- RN license for Washington
- BLS certification
- 4:1 ratio experience
- Med/Surg Telemetry experience
Unit Details
- ED/Trauma Center ER Observation
- 8-16 beds/trauma bays
- 8-16 patients per day
- RN’s monitor their own telemetry
- In-house security
- Charge nurse/house supervisor present
- Nurse aides, paramedics, and patient sitters present
- House transporters available
- Lab draw used for phlebotomy/nurse draw
- Navy blue scrubs
Floating
- Primary assignment is St Joseph Medical Center
- May float throughout Region Two, including St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; and St Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA
