Job Opportunity: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Bremerton, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Oversee delivery of dialysis and patient care in a chronic, in-center dialysis setting
• Provide patient education and supervise Dialysis Technicians
• Adjust treatment plans according to standing orders and care plans
• Monitor patient outcomes and administer medications
• Participate in quality improvement projects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists
• Work any day Monday through Saturday, with shifts varying between AM and PM based on staffing needs
• Must be able to work at any clinic location on the peninsula

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
• Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience, including experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Certification in Advanced Trauma Training (ATT)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• STABLE certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP are noted but not explicitly required
