Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility setting.
  • Perform assessments, treatments, medication administration.
  • Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information.
  • Manage admitting and discharging processes.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
  • Provide gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments.
  • Perform wound vac care and CPAP care.
  • Other assigned nursing duties as required.
  • Shifts are variable and based on census and facility needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid LPN / LVN license in Hawaii.
  • Minimum 2 years of LPN / LVN experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Experience in a Long Term Care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience is required.
  • Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.
  • Timely arrival before start date is mandatory; do not accept the start date if unable to comply.
