Job Opportunity: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a Long Term Care facility located on the hospital site.
Responsibilities include:
- Patient assessments and treatments
- Medication administration
- Notifying MD/NP of pertinent information
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Gastrostomy Tube care
- Urinary Catheter care
- Nebulized Treatment
- Wound Vac care
- CPAP care
- Tracheostomy care
- Other assigned duties
Shift: 8-hour shifts, varied schedule including weekends and holidays. Flexibility required; no guarantee of specific hours or shift preference.

Required Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
BLS/BCLS certification required.
Proof of flu vaccination required prior to contract start date (can be administered during employee health clearance appointment).

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
Flexibility with shift and hours is essential.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in Nursing specialty (LPN).
No prior travel experience required.
