OR Surgical Tech - Delta, Colorado (Contract)

Job Summary

• Provide surgical case assistance to ensure procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
• Prepare rooms and supplies based on physician preference cards and knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Maintain sterile fields throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and surgical prep under RN supervision.
• Open sterile supplies and clean rooms promptly to minimize turnover time.
• Support sterile processing and update surgeon preference cards as needed.
• Perform Central Processing Coordinator duties on a rotating basis to ensure proper sterilization and availability of instruments.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certification as an OR Tech in the State of Colorado.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
