Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Hilo, Hawaii

Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position in a 28-bed Emergency Room department including:
- 4 trauma bays
- 2 behavioral health rooms
- 22 cardiac monitor rooms
Fast-paced, high patient turnover, team-oriented environment
Schedule: Days, 3 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
No guarantee of hours

Licensure & Certifications

Must have an active Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
Preferred (not required) certifications: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, EMPC

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (specialty years of experience)

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
Prior travel experience is required

This role is ideal for experienced ER nurses with required certifications and prior travel experience, ready to work in a dynamic emergency department setting in Hawaii.
