Work Schedule

• Day shift
• 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency
• May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Job Summary

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Evaluate health status through ongoing data collection and assessment
• Provide health teaching and counseling
• Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Use resources as needed
• Promote organizational mission, vision, and values
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
