Contract Length: 9 weeks (61 days)
Shift:

Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.
Perform daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment before patient studies.
Inject patients with radioactive material as per physician’s orders and prescribed protocols.
Complete all required department documentation, including logs, manuals, and charge documents.
Report equipment problems to comply with regulatory agencies.
Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests following radiation safety guidelines (ALARA principle).
Maintain, develop, and retrieve patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.
Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries and activity levels before administration.
Perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy.
Assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after visits in the Radiology department.

Valid CT Technologist license in New York (L.R.T)
ARRT certification
BLS certification
Completion of a Radiologic Technologist program
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
