Job Summary

Provide casting and medical assistance to licensed providers during scheduled clinic visits and in the emergency center. Responsibilities include patient intake and rooming, applying casts and splints, basic hardware maintenance, documentation, family education on cast care, communication with the orthopedic team, and managing casting/clinic supplies.

Required Qualifications

  • Orthopedic Technologist (3 years of experience)
  • Orthopedic Technologist experience within the last year
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience doing basic casting, splinting, and hardware maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English

  • Familiarity with orthopedic instrumentation, hardware, equipment, and casting/splinting procedures
