Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Job Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation (Group 2 holidays: July 4th, Labor Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (except during holidays when unit is closed)
• Float Requirements: May float to other units and nearby facilities as needed (Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, others)
• On Call/Call Back: None

Experience & Certifications

• Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2+ years Medical-Surgical experience in short-term acute care hospital settings
• Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel contract preferred
• Certifications Required:

  • Chemo Certification (mandatory)
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
  • Wisconsin RN license
  • ONS/ONCC certification required

Additional Notes

• Float assignments will only be within clinical skill set and require approval from employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and staffing agency.
• GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week.
