Registered Nurse Travel Position - Wisconsin (Berlin)

• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed

• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

• Float Requirements: Ability to float to a location 40 miles away, working with Rehab & LTC patients
• On Call/Call Back: None

Requirements

• Licensure: Wisconsin RN license required
• Certifications: AHA BLS required
• Education: Associate’s degree minimum
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required (higher value confirmed)
• Travel Experience: Strongly preferred (prior travel experience not explicitly required but preferred)
• Clinical Skills:

  • Recent Long Term Care (LTC) experience required (Post-acute & LTC)
  • Wound care experience and ability to follow MD orders
  • PIV insertion and blood draws
• Charting Experience: Epic preferred; Pyxis highly preferred

Unit Information

• 20-bed long term care and 17-bed rehab unit
• RN patient ratio approximately 1:17-20
• May be only 1 RN on duty from midnight to 3:30 PM at times

Orientation

• Total 5 days: 1 day onboarding + 4 shifts with preceptor
• 8 hours non-billable orientation
• Guaranteed hours per week except during holidays when unit is closed

Additional Notes

• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks
• Scrub color: Black
