Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shift: 09:00 AM – 06:30 PM
• Weekend rotation: Every 4th to 5th weekend
• Full-time equivalent (FTE): 0.9 to 1.0 (36 to 40 hours/week)
• Holiday call rotation required
• On-call: Weeknight call approximately every 1-2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 7 years, including SSN verification and alias checks, dated within 30 days of start
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
• Exclusion screenings: EPLS, OIG, NSO (including statewide checks for Iowa) within 30 days of start
• Signed forms: Code of Conduct, Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Integrity and Audit Services, Non-Employee Upload Form, System Access Form (completed one week before start)
• Specialty skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
• Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registry checks within 30 days prior to start
• OFAC sanctions screening within 30 days of start

Experience
