Job Opportunity: Medical Assistant

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program within 12 months of service required.
  • Current nursing student or Paramedic preferred.
  • National Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • CPR training required.
  • Experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Additional procedure knowledge and understanding of sterile field preferred.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, or graduation from a Medical Assistant training program within 12 months of service.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
