Registered Nurse (RN) - Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location: Montour Falls, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: Evenings, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Serve as Professional RN Team Lead responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization.
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and advocate for patients.
• Ability to step down to LPN Med Cart duties as needed and staffing permits.
• Promote evidence-based practice and maintain clinical competence specific to the care area.
• Participate in unit councils and staff meetings.
• May require lifting up to 50 lbs., and prolonged sitting or standing.
• Must be able to operate required equipment.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Floating to other units as staffing permits.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid throughout the assignment.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

• Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday.
• Floating to other units may be required depending on staffing.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing or sitting.
