Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery (Travel)

Location: Buffalo, New York
Contract Length: 12 weeks (interpreted as weeks since 12 is between 4 and 40)

Required Credentials and Certifications

Licenses

• Professional State License (following applicable state executive orders and board guidelines for temporary licensure, emergency waivers, and/or licensure by endorsement; accepting out-of-state licensure when permitted)
• Nursys verification

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS (American Heart Association) - optional but recommended

Personal Health History Requirements

• MMR (proof of vaccines or titers)
• Hepatitis B (proof of vaccines or declination)
• Influenza Vaccine (required October 1 – March 31; accepts declination)
• TB Test (One Step TB Skin Test / Tspot / TB QuantiFERON within past 12 months)
• Varicella (proof of vaccines or titers)
• Annual TB Questionnaire (within past 12 months)
• Physical and Vision Exam (within past 12 months, must include systems check)
• Catholic Drug Screen (12 panel, no THC, within past 12 months)

Professional Requirements

• Driver's License or State ID
• 7-year Criminal County Search, SSN Trace, National Criminal Database (within 12 months)
• National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days prior to start)
• State Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days prior to start for the state of residence)
• Webchecks (within 30 days prior to start)
• Professional Reference
• Employment Verification
• Badge Photo
• Catholic Core Competencies, Skills Checklist, Relias Color Vision, Unit Exam (checklists/testing)

Additional Notes

• Must complete Catholic Employee Bio Form (includes personal identifying information)
• This is a travel assignment with a holiday rotation focus
• All credentials and documentation must be current and compliant with Catholic Health system requirements prior to onboarding

This position is suitable for experienced RN Labor and Delivery nurses who meet the above credentialing and health requirements and are available for a 12-week travel contract in Buffalo, NY.
