Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg

Overview

• Temp assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Nights, 12 hours per day
• 13-week contract
• 3 East, Cardiac/Neuro unit
• Unit size: 20 to 34 beds
• Typical patient ratio: 1:6

Required Qualifications

• Med Surg / Telemetry (4 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Driver's License
• Willingness to float
• Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool)
• Must have own vehicle
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Straight MS travelers are ineligible

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech Expanse experience

Scheduling and Assignment Notes

• Willingness to float is required
• Requested time off must be included at submission and is limited to no more than 5 days
• Travelers are required to work two holiday coverage periods
• Block scheduling is not considered
• Personal scrubs of any color are allowed
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
