Job Description

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the nursing process, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessing physical, psychosocial, and educational patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, making appropriate interventions, evaluating patient responses, and ensuring quality patient care and professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Level II Trauma facility (preferred)
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• EMR Experience:

  • Cerner EMR (required)
• Licensure:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Michigan
• Additional Requirements:

  • Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to ICU specialty
  • Must complete required application forms as part of the hiring process
