Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Nights

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Registered Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery. The RN provides clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift, specifically in Labor & Delivery and mom/baby couplet care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Labor, Delivery & Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) care
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Work history and skills checklist pertinent to Labor/Delivery specialty (current within 1 year)
• Two supervisory reference forms with employment dates

Preferred Qualifications

• Level II Nursery experience
• STABLE certification

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
• Applicants who were direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs
