Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse

Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (7pm-7am), weekdays, minimum every other week, including holidays
Option to flex to 4x12 shifts if needed (overtime billed after 48 hours)
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech (experience preferred)
Locals are eligible to apply
ASAP start

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA certified
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA certified

Preferred:

CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Blue Card; travelers can obtain CPI onsite if contract extends beyond 3 months

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with ED experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
