Job Summary
Seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse to work in an 18-bed Neuro ICU critical care unit specializing in care for critically ill adult patients with neurological diagnoses such as stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma. The unit provides advanced care including hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia treatment.
Shift Details
- Evening/Night shifts
- 12-hour shifts (1900-0730)
- Every other weekend and some holidays
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience, including experience within the last year
- Acute care experience
- Experience in ICP and ventriculostomy care
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum 13 weeks of total travel nursing experience
Licensure & Certifications
- Wisconsin nursing license or compact license from permanent address state
- BLS & ACLS certification through the American Heart Association only
Additional Requirements
- Must live within 50 miles of the work site
- Floating required: may be assigned to multiple units or locations depending on staffing needs

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements (Summary)
- Background checks including criminal, caregiver screening, and education verification as applicable
- Telemetry pass/fail testing and remediation process required annually
- Various health documents including immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B), TB testing, and flu vaccination or approved exemptions
- Drug screening per standard clinical requirements
- Photo for badge and facility-specific forms required prior to start
References & Documentation
- Two clinical references within the last 3 years required
- Employment application and annual skills checklist required
