Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse to work in an 18-bed Neuro ICU critical care unit specializing in care for critically ill adult patients with neurological diagnoses such as stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma. The unit provides advanced care including hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia treatment.

Shift Details

Evening/Night shifts
12-hour shifts (1900-0730)
Every other weekend and some holidays

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience, including experience within the last year
Acute care experience
Experience in ICP and ventriculostomy care
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association
Minimum 13 weeks of total travel nursing experience

Licensure & Certifications

Wisconsin nursing license or compact license from permanent address state
BLS & ACLS certification through the American Heart Association only

Additional Requirements

Must live within 50 miles of the work site
Floating required: may be assigned to multiple units or locations depending on staffing needs

Various health documents including immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B), TB testing, and flu vaccination or approved exemptions
Drug screening per standard clinical requirements
Photo for badge and facility-specific forms required prior to start

Two clinical references within the last 3 years required
