Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP (compliance process may take up to 4 weeks from offer)
• Shift: 4x10 hour days
• Call: Usually every 5th weekend and 1 night a week (5-7 call shifts per month)

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years as a Radiologic Technologist
• Experience specifically in Cardiovascular, Interventional Radiology, and Neurovascular procedures

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• ARRT(R) certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• Washington State License (Pending license acceptable; ETA 10 weeks)

Prior Travel Experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Washington
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience in cardiovascular procedures and as a Cardiovascular Technologist
• Radiology Technician experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT certification

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year search, SSN trace, federal and state checks required
• Social Security verification required (can start pending verification)
• Education verification required (transcripts/diploma acceptable if school closed)
• WA State Patrol check must be run within 90 days prior to start (for WA placements)
• Drug testing within 30 days of start (specific panels required)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (onsite candidates)
• Immunizations or declinations required for: Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Flu seasonal vaccine (or approved exemptions)
• Respiratory safety clearance required for onsite candidates, updated annually

Orientation & Training

• Must complete PeaceHealth Orientation Manual and Orientation Information Quiz with 100% score prior to start
• Must complete discipline-specific PeaceHealth Orientation Module in WorkRamp with 100% score prior to start
• Review and sign Workplace Violence Prevention Plan prior to start
• Review Dress Code and Personnel Restrictions Due to Illness Policy prior to start
• Passport-style photo required for badge

• Locals are not accepted for this travel position
• Candidate must be available for call shifts as described
• Candidate must provide two references from Charge RN or higher covering at least 1 year in specialty within last 3 years
• Employment history verification required for last 7 years with proof of 1 year in specialty
