• Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 7:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements

• Background Check: Complete 7-year criminal search including all counties worked in last 7 years, sex offender registry, nationwide social security trace; instant statewide searches not accepted.
• Education Verification: Copy of diploma or transcript required (unofficial transcripts acceptable if graduation date is present). Education verification required if transcript/diploma cannot be provided.
• Competency Exam: Unit-specific competency exam must be submitted.
• Modules: Completion of facility-specific Oracle training modules required before start.
• Badge Photo: Clear, front-facing photo with plain white background required before start.
• Signed Documents: Job description, confidentiality agreement, code of conduct acknowledgment, and marketing consent form must be signed prior to start.
• Physical Exam: Must be completed within one year of start, stating "cleared to work" with physician's signature and contact info.
• Drug Test: 10-panel drug screen with negative results required within 30 days of start.
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • Negative TB test (PPD, Q-Gold, or Tspot) within one year or chest X-ray if previously positive
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Titer or two MMR vaccines; boosters required if titer negative/equivocal
  • Hepatitis B: Complete series, positive titer, or signed declination
  • Varicella: Titer, two vaccines, or medical documentation of chickenpox history; boosters if titer negative/equivocal
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - May 1); documentation due by Nov 1 or assignment termination
• References: Two professional references required prior to start
• Work History Verification: Verification of last 3 years of work history required; attestations acceptable; can be pending at start
• Annual Skills Checklist and Performance Evaluation or equivalent references required if applicable

Additional Notes

• Travelers must commit to completing parking registration and lab onboarding within 48-72 hours of signing.
• Facility uses a zero-tolerance attendance policy; punctuality and reliability are critical.
• EPIC charting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Night shift and weekend work required.

This position is ideal for a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, preferably with neonatal ICU exposure, who is comfortable working night shifts in a Level 3 Trauma acute care hospital setting.
