Job Overview
- Location: Newark, New York
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Evening, 5x8 hours, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Hours per week: 40
Unit Details
- Long-term care unit with 42 beds
- Patient diagnoses include dementia, arthritis, CHF, and CVA
- Float assignment may be required based on facility need
- Weekend coverage is every other weekend
- Local candidates are not accepted unless they live more than 75 miles away
- First-time travelers are accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in New York
- Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
- Long Term Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- LPN / LVN experience
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Requirements
- Patient ratio experience: 1:21
- Ratios: days 1:21, nights 1:42, weekends 1:21
