Hospice Registered Nurse - Texas (Tomball)

Position Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Day shift, 5x8 hours), with possible weekend shifts
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed (20 hours weekly minimum)
• Average Patients per Day: 5-7 (Geriatric cases)
• On-Call: Yes (details to be discussed during interview)
• Territory: Up to a 60-mile radius from the office; flexibility required
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; no jeans
• Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, at IRS standard rate
• Equipment Provided: iPad (cell phone not provided)
• Locals Accepted: Yes, at the travel rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR system

Additional Information

• Must be flexible with travel territory within the specified radius
• Use of electronic medical records system (HCHB EMR) and OASIS experience required
