Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Englewood, Colorado
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10s, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Schedule is assigned by the charge nurse and rotates days off
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• On-call may be required for case completion
• Does not require floating within the service line
• Scrubs are provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
• Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Clinical Experience Needed

• Must be able to scrub arthroscopies and sports medicine cases
• Must be proficient with ACL surgeries
• Experience with arthroscopies is expected, including knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, wrist, hand, foot, and ankle procedures
• Must be able to meet the skills checklist requirement for arthroscopies

Case Mix

• Sports medicine ambulatory surgery center
• Common procedures include ACLs, knee and shoulder repairs, total shoulders, total ankles, foot and ankle cases, and hand procedures
• Does not perform total knees, hips, or spine cases

Additional Notes

• Weekend requirement: no
