Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract must extend through January 2, 2027
Unit / Float Scope
- Critical Care Float Pool
- Floats to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including:
- Neuro ICU
- Surgical ICUs
- Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
- Cardiology/Diagnostics
- CVICU
- SICU / MICU / NCCU
- Float policy: required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience in Critical Care Float
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- IV Start capability
- Telemetry experience
- Ventilator management experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Additional Notes
- Annual stroke education may apply based on unit assignment
- Background check, fingerprinting, and health/document compliance items are required for start
