Registered Nurse — Med/Surg/Telemetry

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Night shift, 3x12 hours
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Schedule / Unit Details

• Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 or 1:5 on days and evenings; 1:6 or 1:7 on nights

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Emergency contact form
• CORI release
• Annual background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry search
• Pass/fail testing
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
• Color blind testing within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit testing for N95 mask
• Tdap vaccination
• TB clearance
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Annual COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
• 2 recent work references
