PCU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Richmond, Virginia
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and 2 holidays per contract
- Locals are allowed at the same rate
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Complete application/resume
- Background check
- Drug screening
- Physical exam within 1 year
- TB screening and TB questionnaire
- Tdap
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella titers
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption
- HIPAA acknowledgement
- Color blindness testing
- Abuse reporting competency
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
- Annual skills checklist
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Annual skills and competency-related updates may be required during onboarding
Orientation / Onboarding Notes
- Orientation includes unit-specific testing and learning modules
- Modules must be completed by the Friday of orientation week
- Photo ID must be carried while on duty
